A musician from New Zealand embarks on a quest to find the sound of the German homelands (“Heimat”). He encounters soul from the Ore Mountains, listens to hip hop beats in the Cologne dialect, rocks the Antistadl and accompanies some polkas with his saxophone. As a foreigner in Germany, Chisholm opens some unusual perspectives.
