Dong Chi-sung, a professional baseball player, is dumped by his girlfriend, diagnosed with a malignant tumor, and given three months to live all on one day. In a tailspin, he goes to a bar to drink away his pain and passes out. He wakes up to find himself in a hotel room with the quirky bartender Han Yi-yeon. He asks her how he got there and she tells him she folded him up and carried him in a box. The next day, on his way home, he hears an oddly familiar story being told on the radio, which Yi-yeon sent to a program devoted to confessional love stories. Although Chi-sung angrily confronts Yi-yeon about the radio incident, the station sends her a free mobile phone and movie tickets as a gift for her confession. Yi-yeon presents the mobile phone to Chi-sung and goes to the theater with him, acts that gradually bring them closer to each other.
