Robert Kennedy: In the Shadow of Success
Born Robert Francis Kennedy on November 20, 1925, Robert was the seventh born of nine siblings. His elder brother John Fitzgerald Kennedy would become the 36th President of the United States of America and subsequently appointed Robert as the 64th US attorney general. Robert and his brother John played vital roles in the civil rights movement. He was proactive in prosecuting notorious criminals and increased prosecution by 800% as attorney general. After his brother's unfortunate death, John F Kennedy, Robert sought a new career and became a politician. His successful campaigns had won the hearts of the people and earned him loyal supporters. With an impressive wrap sheet of political roles, Robert was ready to take a step forward into the shoes his brother left behind. In 1968, Robert was a candidate in the presidential election; however, his winning streak would abruptly end due to a change in plan.
