Sondra Locke (best known for co-starring roles in six Clint Eastwood films, such as "The Outlaw Josey Wales" and "Bronco Billy") makes her directorial debut and stars in this bittersweet story of an eccentric young woman who becomes involved with a highly unusual young man. A highlight of the 1986 Deauville American Film Festival, Variety calls her "offbeat 'Ratboy'" the revelation of the Festival." Also starring comics Louie Anderson ("Coming to America," "Quicksilver"), Second City's Gerrit Graham ("Now and Again," "This Boy's Life"), John Witherspoon (the "Friday" movies, TV's "The Wayans Bros.") and Robert Townsend ("Undercover Brother," "Hollywood Shuffle").
