Polar Bear Summer
Available on Paramount+, Prime Video
It's not a sight you expect to see: a polar bear frolicking in lush, floral landscapes. Yet once a year, in central Canada's Hudson Bay, this is a common occurrence, as the ice begins to vanish in spring and they are forced to spend their summers on the shore. This is an unknown side of these Arctic predators, as they adapt, hunt, and play in a world that couldn't be any different than their winter homes. They survive the summer months as they wait for the frozen bay to return, and their time on land to end.
