Not Black Enough
Not Black Enough is a film about class warfare and the cross-tides that African-Americans endure within the black community. This film takes a sometimes humorous, always personal, brutally honest and insightful look into a seldom-explored phenomenon that is pervasive in the black culture; the ostracizing of blacks by other blacks for being "Not Black Enough." Starring Vanessa Williams, Henry Louis Gates, Jr., Petey Pablo, Florence LaRue and Kathleen Bradley, Not Black Enough, a feature length documentary, explores the reasons behind this cultural practice of inequality, fear and loathing internal to the black community, while always asking the question "Who is Black Enough?" The answers to the question will always elucidate, and may surprise you.
