Not Black Enough is a film about class warfare and the cross-tides that African-Americans endure within the black community. This film takes a sometimes humorous, always personal, brutally honest and insightful look into a seldom-explored phenomenon that is pervasive in the black culture; the ostracizing of blacks by other blacks for being "Not Black Enough." Starring Vanessa Williams, Henry Louis Gates, Jr., Petey Pablo, Florence LaRue and Kathleen Bradley, Not Black Enough, a feature length documentary, explores the reasons behind this cultural practice of inequality, fear and loathing internal to the black community, while always asking the question "Who is Black Enough?"
