Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - Plays Baloise Session
Available on Qello Concerts
It’s akin to a historic moment when the Baloise Session welcomes a musician who was the principal songwriter of legendary alternative rock band Oasis. The Britpop anthems of an entire generation, such as «Live Forever», «Whatever», «Wonderwall» and «Don’t Look Back in Anger», came from the pen – or rather the guitar – of Noel Gallagher. Upon its release in 2011, the band's self-titled debut album was met with critical acclaim, featuring melodic rock and indie pop. Following the success of their first album, the band embarked on a worldwide tour and released subsequent albums such as “Chasing Yesterday” (2015) and “Who Built the Moon?” (2017). Renowned for their epic sound and Noel's unique songwriting approach, the High Flying Birds have maintained both commercial success and critical admiration. In Basel the band will be firing up the audience.
