Nocturne

In this moody noir mystery produced by Alfred Hitchcock protégé Joan Harrison, George Raft plays maverick detective Joe Warne, who has been suspended from the police force because he believes a composer's death that was ruled suicide was actually a murder. Warne discovers that the dead man had broken at least ten female hearts in the past few years, providing all ten with a motive for murder.
