Naan

Naan is the story of a boy, Karthik (Vijay Antony), who kills his mom and uncle for having an illicit relationship and thereby grows up in a juvenile home. He also loses his father who commits suicide after learning about the illegitimate relationship. After being released from the juvenile home, Karthik boards a bus for Chennai in order to start a new life. On the way there is an accident, the bus crashes and his co-passenger Salim dies. Karthik sees Salim's college certificates, uses the documents to change his identity and joins a medical college. He makes many rich friends in college, namely, Ashok (Siddharth Venugopal), Rupa (Rupa Manjari) and others. In a heated conversation with Ashok, he kills Ashok accidentally but tries to cover it up. Within such a distorted life, new and difficult situations keep arising. The rest of the story is about whether he chooses to live a life as Salim or go back to his original identity.
