An endearing and often comical portrait of the bond between humans and the animals they love, "My Pet and Me" introduces audiences to a handful of individuals that have dedicated their lives to their colorful companions. Often absurdist, objectively cute, and unfailingly heart-warming, we spend time with a unique group of individuals and their animal counterparts, including a hairdresser with a house full of hairless cats, a competition dog dancing champion, a giant spiritual snail, and a therapeutic pug, amongst others. Featuring characters that can at times appear as though they’re out of central casting of classic mockumentary "Best in Show", these owners’ deep relationships with their pets beckons the question – who exactly needs who more?
