Muddy Waters: Got My Mojo Working
Muddy Waters was the father of the "Chicago Blues Sound," but his achievement was more than an electrical amplification of the blues. Waters extended the solo player's feeling and emotion to an ensemble attack, creating a distinctly American sound that dominated popular culture in the latter half of the twentieth century. This program features rare electric performances recorded for German television from 1968-1978 by the most recognized name in the blues world.
