Vida and Arthur come from very different backgrounds. Arthur comes from a working class family in Wales, whereas Vida comes from a wealthy Jewish family in London. Despite their differences, they’re passionately in love with each other. They try to bring their vastly different families together during a fake engagement party, but it’s a complete disaster. The rift between their families begins to creep into their relationship, and eventually tragedy drives them apart. Can they salvage their relationship and finally bring their families together?
