The inspirational story of the rise, fall, and rebirth of an unforgettable doo-wop band. In 1964,"Vinnie and the Dreamers," led by 16-year-old lead singer Vince Pirelli, made the crowds go wild. It was a magical time. Now, more than thirty years later, a 50-year-old Vince is playing weddings and bar mitzvahs. He wants no part of the old days. His life revolves around his two sons and his daughter, who is battling leukemia. When Vince meets his daughter's beautiful and caring nurse, he feels the coals of love ignite, and slowly begins to explore his feelings. When his old friends from The Dreamers take him to Atlantic City, Vince must come to terms with the pain and disappointment of the past 30 years, and find the hope for the future he needs.
