Live Wires

In New York City, Slip Mahoney (Leo Gorcey) exasperates his sister, Mary (Pamela Blake), by being unable to hold a job due to his short temper. After Slip gets fired from a job Mary arranged for him with her boss, Herbert Sayers (John Eldredge), he joins his friend, Sach Jones (Huntz Hall), in claiming repossessed items. His first assignment brings him to a club singer who has Sayers' photo on her desk -- and his second task holds a surprising client who also has a familiar mutual acquaintance.
