Leonard Bernstein's centenary celebration at Tanglewood illuminates an incredible career that inspired generations of music lovers around the globe. The legendary conductor-composer, who changed the face of American musical theater and classical music, studied conducting at Tanglewood - the famed summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra - and went on to teach and perform there for fifty years.
