Laurel & Hardy: Unaccustomed As We Are
The title is a clever reference to the actual circumstances of this production. After many years of making silent short subjects, solo and together, Laurel & Hardy made their first talking film appearance in this situation comedy. Hardy surprises his wife by bringing a pal home for dinner, only to find even worse trouble with a jealous neighbor who just happens to be a policeman. The story was reworked later in BLOCK-HEADS. Directed by Lewis R. Foster. With Mae Busch, Edgar Kennedy, and Thelma Todd.
