Laurel & Hardy: Dirty Work

Engaged as chimney sweeps — a nearly obsolete occupation even in 1933 – the duo visits the home of a mad scientist at work on perfecting a rejuvenation elixir. To simulate the filthy soot found in a chimney, the studio procured two barrels containing 400 pounds of pulverized cocoa (powdered chocolate)! Directed by Lloyd French. With Lucien Littlefield and Sam Adams in parts originally intended for Richard Carle (Habeas Corpus) and Frank Austin (The Laurel-Hardy Murder Case).
