After moving to a different town, 7-year-old Laura finds it difficult to make new friends. One night, she finds a little star, which has fallen from the sky and landed on the pavement right in front of Laura's house, injuring one of its legs. Laura lovingly restores the star to health. And so begins a wonderful and magical friendship that embodies childhood wishes, hopes and dreams.
