Land of Storms
After a lost game and a violent argument, promising young soccer player Szabolcs decides to leave his German team and return to his village in Hungary. Looking for solitude, he instead meets Áron, a young man attempting to escape from his responsibilities to an ailing mother. When Szabi hires Áron to help repair the derelict house he inherited from his grandparents, a mutual attraction develops. These feelings are put to the test when Szabi's teammate Bernard arrives from Germany. Szabolcs finds himself torn between two loves, while Áron faces the pressure to conform with his conservative family. Land of Storms is a sumptuously-shot, personal story of sexual awakening, self-discovery, and intolerance from a rising star in Hungarian cinema.
