Kapag Langit Ang Humatol
Based on a highly rated radio drama, this Laurice Guillen directed film revolves around the prohibited love of Hector (Richard Gomez), the submissive son of Doña Octavia (Gloria Romero), and the naïve house helper Florida (Vilma Santos) whom he has impregnated. Bent on solidifying their social status, Octavia not only turns Hector against Florida but also switches the still born child of Hector’s wealthy wife, Carol (Kristine Garcia) with Florida’s new born infant. With her child presumed dead and the love of Hector gone, Florida swears retribution for the years she was mistreated. Having worked her way to the top, Florida’s ailing employer, Dorina (Charo Santos), makes her the guardian of her son, Oliver (Jeffrey Santos), and gives her half of the inheritance. With the help of Oliver, Florida plans to exact revenge on Octavia and Hector through the gentle Bernadette (Carmina Villaroel), who unbeknownst to her, is her very own daughter. Oliver inevitably falls for her causing Florida to unknowingly punish her own child. Will the vicious cycle continue or will forgiveness prevail?
