Award-winning and internationally acclaimed director Zeki Demirkubuz has been leading a revolution in Turkish cinema for the past decade. In Kader (Destiny) he tells the story of the younger years of two characters. In a dramatic love triangle Bekir falls in love with Uğur, but Uğur is in love with Zagor, who can’t seem to stay away from trouble. Zagor is arrested after getting involved in the murder of two police officers. Initially this event gives hope to Bekir, but instead it marks the beginning of a pursuit of merciless love. As Bekir follows Uğur like a stubborn dog into run-down hotels, wild parties and seedy nightclubs, love grows with pain, poverty, tears and evil.
