Hungry Hills

15-year-old Snit Mandolin (Keir Gilchrist of TV'S UNITED STATES OF TARA) leaves the brutality of a delinquent boys' home in 1950s Saskatchewan and returns to the community that shunned him and his family. Taking up with another outcast, moonshiner Johnny Swift, Snit struggles to make enough money to survive and revive his aunt's (Gabrielle Rose of JENNIFER'S BODY) neglected farm. But Snit is pursued by the enigmatic freelance cop Roy Kane (John Pyper-Ferguson of TV's BROTHERS & SISTERS) who delivered Snit to the reformatory and is determined to shut down the boy's operation. Snit and Johnny's friendship begins to collapse as they are pushed to a final, explosive confrontation.
