Henry VIII

BBC presents one of Shakespeare’s lesser known history plays. Henry VIII tells the story of a young King Henry (John Stride) and his trusted advisor Cardinal Wolsey (Timothy West). As the King meets and falls into lust with the beautiful Ann, a web of political and religious intrigue begins to form which leads the King to greater heights, and eventual fatherhood, leaving the Cardinal in ruins.
