Fysah and Vox Mod - Meet the Band
Self-described as the black baby of Amy Winehouse and Adele, Fysah’s voice is a delicate combination of soul, pop, and indie rock. Backed by a keyboardist raised in the gospel sounds of the church and a bassist steeped in funk and RNB, the final sound created is rich in emotion and personality. Abstraction is at the core of electronic musician Vox Mod’s creations. Every aspect of his performance is a study of who he is, not only as a musician, but as a designer and illustrator as well. His performances engage the senses of sight as well as sound, utilizing costumes and visual projections to heighten the submersion of the audience into his world of spirituality.
