Funk Night

Featuring Nils Landgren and Bootsy Collins this performance is a tribute to the great Cannonball Adderley. Nils Landgren, or the Man with the Red Trombone, is a Swedish jazz and R&B musician whose 1997 jazz funk album, Funk Unit, became one of the best selling Jazz records in Europe. In this funky 90’s throwback concert, Landgren pays tribute to one of the godfathers of grooving jazz, Cannonball Adderley, playing alongside funk masters Bootsy Collins, Thomas D. and Smudo of Germany's 'Die Fantastischen Vier'.
