Fonseca Sinfónico Con la Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Colombia
International artist, two-time Latin Grammy Award winner singer-songwriter and producer, FONSECA, presents FONSECA SINFÓNICO. After the success of his two live concerts in Bogota, Colombia, with the National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia (November 2013), Fonseca decided to record and produce his latest album which represents his musical achievements during his 12 years of successful career and the prospects of what is yet to come. Alongside the National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia, one of Latin America’s most prestigious and traditional classical institutions and under the baton of Belgian director Paul Dury, Fonseca delivers a magistral performance surrounded by more than 80 classical musicians, bringing hits such as “Arroyito”, “Prometo”, "Te Mando Flores", "Enrédame”, "Abcdario”, "Eres mi Sueño” and "Ay Amor”, among others, to a new life. He also performs in English for the first time ever on the jazz classics “Angel Eyes” and “What a Wonderful World”. German-Colombian director Christian Schmid directed the visuals, while the sound and mix engineer was Eduardo Bergallo an Argentine, who also worked on Cerati’s "11 Episodios Sinfónicos" and other productions with different artists including Soda EStereo, Natalia Lafourcade, and Shakira. Colombian musician Juan Andrés Otálora, who used to be part of Fonseca’s band for many years and has worked in the music of several TV and film productions in Los Angeles. Born in Bogota, Colombia, he is best known by his last name: Fonseca, which has been his trademark throughout his growing and influential career as a singer/songwriter. Since his debut in 2002, he has been recognized with some of the most prestigious awards including two Latin Grammy, Premio Lo Nuestro, MTV Latin Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards, among others. His immeasurable talent and sales more than a million records worldwide make Fonseca one of the top Latin American acts of our days.
