Farewell, Friend
The history between two men is not enough to see them succeed in the present. Having served as legionnaires in the war with Algeria, Dino Barran (Alain Delon) and Franz Propp (Charles Bronson) struggle to make ends meet upon their return. Dino played a role in the accidental death of a fellow soldier and feels obligated to watch over the deceased's lover, Isabelle Moreau (Olga George-Picot). Based on her suggestion, Dino takes a job with a business firm in Paris, but only as a ploy to later rob the corporation. Franz on the other hand has resorted to being a pimp, but when he learns about Dino's new job, he suspects a heist is in the works and wants to get involved. Dino relents and they break into the office, only to find the safe empty. With nothing to show for their efforts, the men soon realize they are being framed for the crime and try to find those responsible before being apprehended by the police.
