Drones of the Future

The Swedish government believes that drones are the future. The people are therefore given the task of showing how this new technology can benefit society. Time is limited and the projects have to be presented in front of an audience. The ideas are many: Drones that fight weeds with lasers, fly us to work, or saves us from an avalanche. But what sounds good in theory turns out to be difficult in practice. This is a documentary about drones and humans’ stubborn drive to develop tomorrow's technology. Will they succeed?
