Discarnate

Dr. Andre Mason (Thomas Kretschmann), a neuroscientist haunted by the death of his family, creates a mind-altering serum that he hopes will allow people to see to the other side and reconnect with lost loved ones. Securing an abandoned house to conduct a clinical trial, he injects himself and his team with the controversial drug. As the serum begins to take effect, they're astounded to discover that it works, allowing them to interact with supernatural spirits. But the spirits aren't the only thing on the other side, and the team soon realizes it has attracted the attention of a much darker being - something only told of in legends. As Andre is pulled between both worlds, he must decide where his loyalties lie: in the family he lost or in the team of scientists who, without his help, may not escape the experiment alive.
