Denver & Rio Grande
Denver and Rio Grande is a western film, directed by Byron Haskin and released by Paramount Pictures in 1952. The film is a dramatization of the building of the Denver and Rio Grande railway, which was chartered in 1870. It was filmed on location on the actual railway near Durango, Colorado. The main character, Jim Vesser (Edmond O'Brien), and his workers are trying to build part of the railroad line through the Rocky Mountains, but their rivals try to stop them.
