Cucuy: The Boogeyman

The small town of Glimmer Peak is rocked to its core when it experiences a series of unexplainable child abductions. With no witnesses, no evidence, and no discernible connection between the missing children, the local Sheriff has reached a dead end. Meanwhile, the Sheriff’s curious niece, Sofia, begins her own investigation into this strange series of events, recalling a childhood story her mother used to tell her about a Latin American boogeyman known as the Cucuy. According to the legend, the Cucuy would come at night to snatch misbehaving children and take them back to his cave to be eaten. As children continue to disappear without a trace, Sofia realizes that she must take matters into her own hands and confront this legendary evil herself – before it’s too late.
