Conjugal Life

Jacqueline (Socorro Bonilla) and Nicolas (Alonso Echánove) have been married for 40 years -- a time which neither party has truly enjoyed. Their problems have been fueled by Jacqueline's inability to cook and Nicolas's refusal to have children. Despite the early realization that their marriage is doomed, the husband and wife take lovers rather than get a divorce. Finally, Jacqueline conspires with several of her lovers to kill her husband. But they have a few problems getting it right.
