And we have all surely wondered how someone ends up homeless and what, if anything, we can do to help. "But for the Grace of God?" is the story of first-time filmmaker Ron Garret's audacious quest to answer these questions by trying to get a homeless person off the street and make a movie about homelessness with a happy ending.
