Boys of Summer

On the tiny Caribbean island of Curaçao, a scrappy band of boys and their determined coach dream of winning the Little League® World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, for the eighth consecutive time. Their unprecedented seven previous wins included victories over such baseball powerhouses as Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. However, in the summer of 2008, the boys are faced with new challenges that could jeopardize their chance at another championship. They must overcome injuries, team bickering and Puerto Rican Little League® players who’ve matured— some have already started to grow mustaches— in order to do their team, manager and nation proud.
