A man who turned his entire life into a fantastic, subversive piece of performance art- his greatest creation, the mysterious Frank Sidebottom became a star –a manic, insane, mercurial star who would ultimately obscure his own creator–playing at Wembley Stadium, getting his own TV show and building an army of fans.
