Because We're Done

Erica and Evan Wilson are both from the heart of the rough neighborhoods of Philadelphia. They met in college and have been inseparable ever since. However, after 18 years of marriage Evan feels that Erica has not grown out of her "hood" ways and has not evolved into the mature woman he believes she needs to be. He comes to this assessment after spending the last 5 years as a partner at his accounting firm while she continues to run her highly successful chain of hair salons in the hood. He does not see how he, as a partner at a prestigious accounting firm, can keep his job when he brings his "ghetto" wife to the company parties. This and many other instances has him ready to move on. When he shares his feelings with his wife she points out to him that he is merely going thru a mid life crisis and his discontentment with her is only a sign of the crisis. He must come to grips with his crisis before he loses his wife forever.
