What is fear? What strange brain device causes us panic when we face an insignificant bug? We might admit that spiders are repulsive beings that deserve to be squashed. But this is not reason enough to paralyze at the mere sight of any of them. If we consider that out of the 35,000 existing species, only the bite of 30 of them are poisonous, we can tell that our fear has no base at all.
