All's Well That Ends Well

A poor doctor's daughter wins the hand of Bertram, the son of the Countess of Rousillon. Newlywed Helena is abandoned by a petulant Bertram who insists that she may not call him husband until she gets from him a ring and can bear him a child. Helena ever determined sets her plan into action to complete these impossible tasks and follows Bertram to Italy.
