Abdelinho, whose real name is Abdullah lives in a small Moroccan town. Stuck in an ultra-boring job and still living with his hysterical mother, Abdelinho escapes reality by daydreaming about Brazil, football, his contagious passion for Samba and his endless love for Maria, a leading actress in his favorite telenovela! His exuberance is interrupted by the arrival of Amr Taleb, an ultra-conservative Islamic televangelist who vows bring back “order” into the small town effectively annihilating everyone’s dreams and ideals.
