Turning Against the West

S1 E1: The years leading up to World War II saw huge changes occurring in Japan. After a period where the nation was encouraged to embrace the West and its values, a growing population required attaining natural resources by any means necessary. Japan decided to follow the West’s example and start an empire building program. But to realize their goals, they turned to an unlikely ally: Nazi Germany.
