The Kairu Diary

S1 E3: While hanging out on the X-Scaper, the gang detects a distress signal that Ky believes is from his missing father (it seems to be originating from a place they used to camp when Ky was a child). Against Baoddai's wishes, Ky sets out on his own, desperate to reconnect with his dad. But when he arrives at the remote, Alaskan location, he realizes the message was a trick, courtesy of Lokar -- and the Radikor E-Teens are waiting there for him. After a battle, Ky, and his father's X-Reader (which he discovered at the location and is full of X-Drives - including Gold Metanoid -- and diary entries from his dad), tumble into a steep gorge. Meanwhile, Maya and Boomer arrive in search of Ky and are surprised to feel the presence of kairu at the camp. They eventually find their missing teammate and defeat the Radikor. And Ky is brought one step closer to discovering his dad's true whereabouts. In a b-story, the gang tries to find a gift for Baoddai's birthday.
