The Candidate

S3 E2: Tom Corbett is approached by a citizens' committee to run for election to the local school board. Norman Tinker, Tina and Eddie are more enthused about Tom's possible candidacy than Tom is, and Norman even appoints himself campaign manager. Tom fears being elected will mean time away from Eddie so he hesitates over accepting the nomination. By the time he decides to actually run, the committee has chosen another candidate.
