The 1950's

S1 E6: The fifties saw the Korean War, the rise of Fidel Castro, and rising Cold War tensions. The Space Race began and landmark civil rights events were documented with Brown vs. the Board of Education and Rosa Parks' courageous refusal to go to the "back of the bus." It was the Golden Age of Television, motion picture gimmicks such as 3-D and Cinemascope, and the musical revolution of rock 'n' roll.
