S1 E2: With Spires Academy building and Jean and Dave's marriage literally dropping to bits, Dave befriends a 12-year-old boy, Twiglet. The repercussions of Dave and Twiglet's friendship bring the long-buried problems in Jean and Dave's relationship to the fore. Meanwhile, Destiny has her own problems in the form of Brian, her mother's new boyfriend, and the one thing that Destiny takes solace in, music, looks like it's going to be taken away from her.
