Superman On Earth

S1 E1: An infant boy from a race of supermen on another planet, Clark Kent, is rocketed to earth and reared by a kindly couple in opening scenes of the Superman drama, "Superman on Earth." As a young man he applies for a job on the Daily Planet, and, in order to prove himself, scoops other reporters and rescues an airport ground crewman dangling from a dirigible guy rope. Thus he begins his dual life as Clark Kent, reporter, and Superman, Man of Steel.
