Summer Begins

S1 E1: Newbie Olivia arrives at Lake Eleanor to spend the summer with her Aunt Leslie. Harboring secrets she wishes to keep hidden, Olivia takes her aunt's advice — that people only need to know as much as you tell them. The summer kicks off with a cove BBQ, and Olivia quickly makes friends with other teens at the lake – Madison, Drew, Alexis, Luke and Ryan – and joins them in a summer kick-off tradition. Afterwards, Ryan confides in Alexis the reason why his dad is absent this summer. Even with Ryan confiding in her, Alexis senses that their relationship is in trouble and decides sex will bring them closer. Discovering Alexis' intentions, her mom and stepdad – Claire and Dennis – decide Claire should talk to Alexis and Madison about sex. Later, after the teens meet up around a campfire, a late-night s'mores hunt takes a turn for the worse. And Madison questions Luke's explanation of his sister's absence at Lake Eleanor. After digging for the truth, she learns more than she had bargained for.
