Stranglehold

S1 E1: A man is found murdered, and the only lead is a woman who pawned his missing watch. She claims her boyfriend gave it to her, having won it from the murdered man in a card game. When the woman refuses to divulge any more, Officer Casey poses as a night club singer and moves into her seeding rooming house in an attempt to befriend her and uncover more information.
