Roommates and Rivals

S1 E6: During the midpoint of their internships, Joanna and Lucy tell Ashley, Talita and Samantha that they've been disappointed in the students' lack of initiative and have received mixed reviews about them from the "Marie Claire" staff. As a result, the interns vow to step it up and set out on individual missions to impress Joanna by taking on additional assignments. When Ashley fails at a Christy Turlington research project, she weasels her way into a Kenneth Cole book launch that Samantha had already been asked to cover. Will she steal Sam's chance to shine? Meanwhile, Talita lands an opportunity to interview Rihanna but her idea quickly gets shot down when Lucy learns that she has overstepped her boundaries as an intern.
