Queen Mary 2 - Cruising Across the Atlantic

S2 E1: Welcome aboard of the Queen Mary 2. Not just a royal name - it is one of the largest man-made passenger ships in the world, an Atlantic cruiser in keeping with the tradition of the Titanic. But that’s not at all - the ship is one big power plant which could supply a city of 25’000 households. And not without good reason - the onboard attractions include a spa, luxury cuisine, a casino, a golf drive….and all this needs power! Hamburg is the starting point of the legendary transatlantic route to New York, which once was the only way for the immigrants from Europe to the USA. We spend 7 days aboard and look behind the scenes of the legendary passenger vessel.
