S1 E1: Alex, a hard working always in control single Mom hires Pete, a surfing, never on time contractor who is looking for a fresh start, to do a kitchen remodel on her home. When Pete's tardiness almost costs him a job, he is able to relate to Frankie, Alex's daughter and helps get her over her fear of performing in public.
